The activity with the theme “Utilizing Social Media in the Digital Era” was opened directly by the Head of Korem 064/MY Colonel Inf Saut Batara representing Danrem 064/MY Brigadier General Yunianto and attended by State Civil Apparatus as well as the Heads of Section and Pasi of Korem 064/MY.
In his remarks, Danrem 064/MY Brigadier General Yunianto, which was read by the Head of Korem 064/MY, welcomed the government officials at Makorem 064/MY.
Empowerment of land defense areas in the Korem 064/MY region is carried out in an integrated manner between Korem 064/MY and the Banten Regional Government by taking into account regional interests and the Universal People’s Security Defense System (sishankamrata) so as to realize security stability in the region.
Danrem 064/MY also added that technological developments that are increasingly rapidly followed by the development of social media via the internet in the era of globalization of course not only have a positive impact but also have a negative impact, for that government officials should be more critical and alert so that they are able to ward off or fortify themselves from a variety of negative influences. which are misleading include hate speech or fake news (hoax), sara issues, pornography, fraud and insults as well as defamation
In his mandate, Brigadier General Yunianto hoped that government officials would be a motivator by conveying constructive messages packaged with communicative language patterns without cornering certain parties. create moral messages that can build national values and love for the homeland, so that the use of social media in the digital era has a positive impact and the community can feel the benefits.
