Flood 50 Centimeters, Police Quickly Unravel Long Congestion at Fly Over Cibodas
CITY TANGERANG, MSM – There was a long traffic jam on Jalan Gatot Subroto, the bridge under the Cibodas Fly Over, Cibodas District, Tangerang City, due to flooding after heavy rains that flushed, Friday (15/07/2022) from the afternoon until late at night.
According to the observations of the Jatiuwung Police, the Tangerang City Metro Police at the location, the water level reached 50 centimeters and this caused a long queue of vehicles.
Congestion occurs in two lanes that connect from the direction of Tangerang City to Tangerang Regency. And vice versa from the district to the city of Tangerang.
“From the reports of members at the Cibodas flyover flood location, the situation of both four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles cannot pass, causing congestion, the water level is reported to have reached 50 centimeters,” explained the Tangerang Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho in his statement.
Nevertheless, his party continues to make efforts to unravel the congestion that occurs due to the slowdown of motorists who want to avoid waterlogged roads.
“Until tonight, we continue to conduct traffic regulations and continue to coordinate with related parties to anticipate if it rains again,” he said.
